Moscato`s Pizza and Italian Bakery in Belvidere

Good pizza! This is a bakery, pizza and sandwich shop. What an odd combination! Limited dining ( 2 tables) and don't be surprised if you hear the owner arguing with the staff in the back.

I am a pizza Conness sore and not a person that does reviews but I search high and low for the best pizzas anywhere in the world and I have come to find myFavorite pizza is right here in Belvidere

Zero star. Owner called me a liar when they delivered the wrong pizza. Yuck. Rude, offensive and disrespectful. I've been ordering pizza for 35 years and I never ask for onions or mushrooms. Really? Not very surprised that the quality of the pizza matches their customer service. I would suggest not to risk eating from here. Zero star

➡02-28-2019Nothing to rave about, just another pizza. The dough was quite hard, it's mediocre at best, cheese & pepperoni was OK. The sausage topping was the best thing on the pizza.

I ordered a Italian beef sandwich. Meat was tender and bread was hot fresh and soft!

This was the best. Ordered so many beasts over the years. Unfortunately the beast pizza price has become way to high. The last pizza ordered was lacking sauce. Never had a bad pizza from here until now. So where's the sauce? Their was more on the cheap $5 pizza from that other place. :(

Love the Sicilian style pizza. Tangy sauce and the best sausage. Asked for a pizza without cheese (food allergy) and they let me know they used a clean pan and knife. Oh, and the cannoli!!! Will definitely order from here again.

Had a wonderfully delicious chicken parmesan and chicken fetticune Alfredo. Usually got pizza or beefs. Very tasty change. Pastries are unbelivablely rich. Highly recommend

GOOD Pizza. Horrible Customer Service. I order from here whenever we come to visit my brother in law. He and his wife order weekly. Their friends do as well. No more, however! We wont take the chance of getting ripped off again. Tonight we ordered 2ea 1 topping pizzas; one with pepperoni and 1 with sausage. Instead of sausage we received mushroom. When my brother called to ask for our sausage pizza, he was told it was OUR mistake and that they were not going to correct the problem. There are plenty of great pizza options in the area. Between all of us, the decision to not correct a $9 problem is going to cost you about $300 a month, rude Moscatos girl. Good decision. Good decision.

So I wanted to order an anniversary dinner for my daughter and son-in-law. I live out of state and I looked online and decided to try your establishment. I'm so happy I did! They loved your pizzas and wings! They said it's their new pizza place to order from in town! Thank you, Paulina, for your help and making their dinner a fun night!

Tha driver was extremely rude. Discusting delivery service. Nothing bad to say about the pizza it was good but with that type of delivery animals 😡🤬

Usually this place is decent, not sure what changed. The last order we got was pretty bad. Ordered a mostaciolli and meatball pizza with pepperoni. The pizza had if you were lucky one piece of pepperoni per slice and was very bland. The mostaciolli was over cooked. I also ordered fettuccine alfredo for my wife that was supposed to come with garlic bread and we got none. Not overly happy. Seems like they are going downhill. I'm not originally from this area, but where I come from you can get better food for a good price. Seems like the pizza place here just assume you'll order from them no matter what because the choices are so limited.

Amazing canoli cake

Ordered a medium sausage with xtra sauce and there is barely any sauce at all on it! and whoever I called was rude and said they would bring me a cup of sauce, this pizza is ruined, a cup of sauce isn’t gona help. I will never order from there again

Stopped on the way back from Chicago. Good pizza (BBQ chicken), which took an extra couple of minutes which was fine. My only complaint was the fact that Faux news was on the TV. Would totally stop again if not for that fact.

Very disappointed in their delivery no napkins no parmesan cheese no pepper no nothing garlic bread not done very unhappy will never order there again have a great day 18 Wheels rolling

My husband and I love Muscato’s pizza! They use fresh ingredients and are generous with the toppings. When we’ve ordered delivery they usually arrive prior to the stated time. I highly recommend for quality pizza in Belvidere.

Moscatos is the best pizza place in Belvidere. There sauce isnt too sweet or salty. The pasta is also divine. They also sell little (huge) desserts that are probably loaded with calories, but heavenly

Excellent random “first time” Experience! A “Mom and Pop” shop looking the part in downtown Belvidere. Pizza made the way Pizza is meant to be: lots of Cheese, and excellent Sausage on that half. Also: excellent carry out Taramasu for desert! This was my “first time” trying this place, but won’t be my last!

Order was $70, took an hour & 1/2, and they forgot my daughters fries. Called and the manager & she called back telling me the cook said she put them in the bag. Nope, no fries. If I’m going to say I didn’t get an item, why would it be the cheapest thing I ordered?? Feel like I’m being accused of lying. And to top it off, the delivery kid tried to open my front door. The food isn’t $70 good, service sure isn’t even close. Won’t be ordering again. Very disappointed to say the least.

Unbeatable authentic Italian pizza. Fast, friendly and family owned. This place is by far the best in town!! Their cake is also to die for!

I bought a 1/2 sheet chocolate cake and a 1/2 sheet strawberry cake they are so wonderful it's indescribable the guests that attended our party were absolutely Over whelm and had never had cake like this before. We've been buying cakes from this pizzeria/bakery for 20 years Whenever we have a special occasion this is always our go to cakes. A week later we were asked by one of our guests to get a special cake for a 83rd birthday they wanted a canola cake so we ordered one and took it to surprise him it was the highlight of his day. If you ever want something special call Moscatos in Belvedere IL.

Great food and great staff

We had a Christmas visitor come to our home for christmas. She brough us beautifully wrapped cookies all the way to the Dallas Texas area. They were so taste and light. lots of flavor depending on the type of cookie it was! Yum Yum!!

Big city pizza for a small town! Price is very reasonable for the high quality! I am very sensitive to unnecessary ingredients and had no problems with their sauce (often to acidic elswhere), pepperoni (same), cheese (some cheese has powder celulous and or potato starch, that means the anti caking agent ( only in shredded cheese (dor now at least) came from the celulous from trees or starch form potato. I want protein not protein packed with potato ( unnecessary carbs/starch) I steer clear of most starch most of the time. cannoli ( great ingredients, didnt bother my GI track one bit! Will recommend, have recommended, will continue to recommend and will most definatly order again!

We had a Moscato cake for my mom’s 90th! 60 people and every crumb was gone! People were raving about it and saying it was the best cake they had ever had. Add to that great service and a great price. I’ll never go anywhere else!

Just not as good as when it 1st opened. Inconsistencies are the consistancy. Belvidere needs a really good pizza joint with a varying selection of offerings that you can depend on being prepared and delivered as you expected when you ordered.

They have incredible pizza, and other Italian dishes. It's all made there by hand. The prices are very reasonable, especially considering what you get! They have mouthwatering desserts as well. There are a couple tables, but most people order take out.

There's Only 4 tables there but 99% take out! They could turn this into a full time restaurant and they could blow away the competition..Excellent food, Huge Family Pizza, super marinara sauce..They are on main street , but lots parking in city lot. Best Kept Secret..in Belvidere il

We've enjoyed Moscato's Pizza since moving here over 16 years ago! Love the Pizza and calzones! Their chocolate mouse cake is YUMMY!

Owner very hard worker homemade bread dough is made homemade only reason he didn't get a five star rating is because of the workers sometimes making mistakes and uses all quality gredients the mistakes I'm talking about is forgetting to put something in the bag and then not getting it
